The Steam new releases are always a good place to find new promising games, right? Let's take a look at some releases of the 2021 Halloween.

Exploring new Steam releases is always a mystery box, you never know what you can find there.

I went on the new releases to see which games are coming out close or at the Halloween day, surprising not a lot of them are scary games, but I did find some interesting titles, and I believe there is much more.

FukTopia 3

A post-apocalyptic shooter that you're able to play in 1 to 4 players.

FukTopia 3 features procedurally generated levels to add uniqueness to your gameplay.

The game consists in going through the levels and eliminating all existing enemies of each level, to be able to progress.

The top-down graphics look great and the design suggests the post-apocalyptic aspect of the game well.

RoboVanRush

This is a walking simulator where you have a simple goal to accomplish: save humanity.

To save humanity you will have to walk or drive through the world, to collect energy and deliver medicines.

The energy is used as a currency, and you are paid in energy every time you deliver the medicines.

With the energy, you can choose between riding a bus, or a private van, but you need to choose wisely as they are different.

  • Bus: The bus is cheaper, but you cannot control its route, you have to stop in a place through its path that is closer to where you wanna go
  • Private VAN: The private van is more expensive, but it will bring you to where you want to go

And you can also walk, which is the slow option, but free.

There is more to the game, and you have to deliver 36 vials in total, while strategically thinking about the routes.

Midnight Scenes: The Nanny

The Nanny is a supernatural horror game about the story of two siblings, Oliver and Tina, where they need to find their nanny after she disappears.

The game got awesome reviews and it is part of the Midnight Scenes, a franchise with different episodes, and each one of them brings a new and interesting horror story.

This point-and-click short horror story has around 40 minutes of horror for you to explore. The art with high-contrasting colors is inspired by horror classics.
